About the training
The Intuitive Institute provides education, exposure, and experiential learning opportunities. Intuitive Institute has partnered with the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative to offer The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy’s professional development courses outside of the United States to increase the opportunities for nonprofit organizations in countries that may not be able to afford these trainings.
This training is designed for students to acquire foundational knowledge on fundraising, help you hone your understanding of fundraising tools and techniques, while developing your leadership and management skills.Rafael Landivar University, El Derectorio, Grupo Master, Intuitive Institute and Muslim Philanthropy Initiative at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy seek to strengthen the nonprofit, and charitable sectors in the developing world. This shared mission is the basis of this collaboration.

Join us on a 6-day training in Universidad Rafael Landivar - Vista Hermosa III Campus Central Zona 16 (Room details to follow) on January 23-27, 2023 Monday to Friday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and January 28, 2023 Saturday 9:00AM to 4:00PM.

The Institute is subsidizing tuition cost to Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy so it can provide The Fund Raising School courses in different parts of the world.

Developing annual sustainability
Learn how to develop a broad, enduring base of supporters and meet your fundraising goals from one year to the next. Involve your staff, your board, and other volunteers to identify, cultivate and ask for gifts from new donors while renewing and receiving larger gifts from current donors.
Who should attend:
Development officers, annual fund campaign staff, board members, volunteers, prospect researchers, program officers, department heads, and financial officers.
Participants must stay through the end of the class in order to receive Continuing Education Units and the Certificate of Completion. Travel arrangements and other appointments should be scheduled around class times. The course will adjourn at 5 p.m. on the last day.
You’ll learn how to:
● Determine which strategies to use and when to use them
● Manage your time effectively
● Make a convincing case for support
● Create gift range charts for planning
● Get volunteers actively involved with your fundraising
● Use the annual fund to support a total development program

Raise more money by receiving more major gifts. Consistent donors can become major donors when you effectively implement the Eight-Step Major Gifts Management Cycle. Identify and utilize your own communication strengths when meeting with donors to develop major gifts and increase your fundraising success.

Tayyab Yunus
Founder, Intuitive Solutions
Tayyab Yunus is the founder of Intuitive Solutions, a Social Enterprise transforming human talent to human capacity for nonprofit and for profit companies around the world. He is adjunct faculty at Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy and is the President of the Center on Muslim Philanthropy.
Tayyab is Philanthropist and Social Entrepreneur. He dreams of a better world brought to life by individuals and institutions who practice a People > Profit lifestyle philosophy and by high performing individuals and institutions from the social good sector.
Fueled by his life mission to improve the human condition, Tayyab has been providing strategic guidance to both Profit and Non-profit organizations for over 20 years. Tayyab is an expert at “getting things done” with excellence by creating strategy around a shared vision, assembling champion lead teams, driving innovation, facilitating execution, and empowering tactics for any size job.
Bilal Khan
CEO, Intuitive Solutions
Bilal Khan is adjunct faculty at Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy and the Intuitive Institute; areas of teaching include philanthropy, social innovation, and social entrepreneurship, such as strategy and leadership, operations and program management, marketing and communications, teams and human resources, as well as fundraising and financial systems for sustainability.
He holds an MBA in Marketing and ISM (2011), and he also obtained a BSc in Psychology and Health Sciences (2008) from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Bilal has been involved in philanthropic space since his early teens (20+ years). Bilal’s demonstrated success through implementing innovative strategies working with Fortune 500 companies. Today, Bilal combines his business and philanthropic background to bring complex and challenging solutions to life (the main reason for his hair loss.)
Today, Bilal serves as the CEO of Intuitive Solutions, a consulting firm providing strategy and capacity services to for-profit, social enterprises and non-profit organizations. His team holds a track record of leading organizations by providing strategic guidance and improving performance. His secret is that he knows there is no single right approach for every individual or organization. This approach is also adopted while wearing his educator hat, thus, providing his students not only with theoretical knowledge, but the knowledge and tools required to apply their learnings.
